Welcome To Pay Jay Chinchillas
We are currently located in Houston Texas and strive to provide quality chinchillas both for pets and for show. Our current herd is centred around standards, white, and ebony mutations. We started in 2008 with a little standard chinchilla from a pet store who was already ill. Shortly after him, and after talking with many breeders including Diamond Bar Chinchillas we began our own herd and strive to make it better.
About the Chinchilla
Chinchillas
are a part of the rodent family coming from the Andes Mountains in
South America. They require cool temperatures and they bathe in dust
because of their lanolin rich fur. The average life span of a
chinchilla is roughly 10-14 years though some have been older.
Nothing is more fun than watching a chinchilla bathe or have their
playtimes.
